Last week, 48 transactions were registered at the auction of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan, the ministry stated May 14.
Entrepreneurs from Russia, the UK, the UAE, Afghanistan and other countries bought aviation kerosene, liquefied gas, polypropylene, hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.
Gasoline produced at the Seida refinery, as well as technical sulfur (SC "Turkmengaz") became the subject of transactions of businessmen from the UAE and Turkey.
In addition, sewing cotton wool, bleached cotton fiber, colorless flat glass, and Portland cement were sold. The buyer countries were Russia, Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
The total amount of transactions exceeded $110.5 million.
Enterprises and organizations of all forms of ownership, citizens of Turkmenistan and other states can become participants of exchange trades by purchasing a brokerage place or concluding a service contract with brokers of the exchange. The main export items are petroleum products, cotton fiber, products of the domestic textile industry, and chemical industry.
