Iran may sell its oil online, e-banking expert Emad Irani told ISNA, Trendreports.

Best way for Iran to export its oil, gas and electricity is producing cryptocurrency and selling abroad, the expert said.

Even Iran's Central Bank can control to make sure that this currency does not return to the country, he said, adding that worries about about the devaluation of the national currency will be gone.

He further added that if someone produces cryptocurrency, he, in fact, exports oil and electricity, imports dollars.

However, due to sanctions, Iran has faced grave problems in this sector, the expert noted, adding that Iran does not need to systematically interfere in the production and export of cryptocurrency and bringing foreign currencies to the country.

He further added that if the Iranian government gets involved, sanction imposing parties can identify the source country (Iran) and create obstacles to the cryptocurrency exports.

The expert noted that Iran faces problems selling oil, gas, electricity to other countries, and thus, sells them through second or third parties and they buy cheaply.

The US imposed sanctions on Iran in November 2019 and further expanded them later.
