Р'Р , an operator of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli project, has completed the connection on a platforms installed on the Central Azeri the last 10th exploitation pre-drilling well, the company told Trend. In March the company intends to set drilling work on the platform. In the general the company plans to drill 4 wells this year.
12 wells have been drilled within the advance bore program on the field. Among them, 10 are production wells, one is for gas injecting into the layer and one is for injecting of drilling cuttings.
With the commissioning of the Western Azeri platform and start of drilling on the Central Azeri the production volume from ACG is expected at the level of 458,000 barrels daily this year. From the 2006 total production amount, 19.000 barrels are supposed to be extracted on Shah-Deniz (condensate) field. 318,00o barrels a day will be produced on Chirag, 226,000 barrels on Central Azeri and 75.000 barrels a day on Western Azeri.
