Subsidiary of Russian's Sberbank in Kazakhstan increases its assets

The assets of the subsidiary bank of Sberbank of Russia in Kazakhstan increased by 7.7 percent and amounted to 1.87 trillion tenge in 2018 , Trend reports referring to the financial statement of the bank.

"Last year, the liabilities of the subsidiary bank increased by 7.8 percent reaching 1.696 trillion tenge," reads the message.

"Subsidiary bank' own capital increased by 6.1 percent and now amounts to 174.076 billion tenge, whereas the charted capital did not change and stands at 51.5 billion tenge," the report said.

"The funds of the corporate clients have increased by 7.7 percent and now amount to 676.096 billion tenge, the funds of the physical persons increased by 9.9 percent and stand at 791.546 billion tenge, loans and advances to customers increased by 8.9 percent and amount to 1.12 trillion tenge," the statement said.

"Compared to 2017, the net profit of the subsidiary bank in 2018 increased 3.7 times and amounted to 41.202 billion tenge, the net interest income increased by 6.7 percent and stood at 71.922 billion tenge, the net interest income excluding the loan expenditures increased by 2.4 times, reaching 45.891 billion tenge, whereas the profit before the deduction of corporate income tax increased by four times and amounted to 47.456 billion tenge," said the report.

The subsidiary bank of Sberbank of Russia in Kazakhstan took the second place among 28 Kazakh banks by the total volume of assets based on the results of 1Q2019.
