The Azerbaijan Credit Bureau has signed contracts with 201 new legal entities, including two non-bank credit organizations, three leasing companies, two credit unions, and the Azerbaijan Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau.
So far, the Bureau has signed contracts with the Central Bank, the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund, all 30 banks of the country and 14 banks which are being liquidated, 44 non-bank credit organizations and five non-bank credit organizations which are being liquidated, two credit unions, 22 insurance companies and three leasing companies, three mobile communication operators and three organizations rendering utilities, as well as four legal entities involved in the sale and purchase on credit.
The number of organizations collaborating with the Bureau by the end of 2019 increased from 120 to 132.
During 2019, the organizations provided the Bureau with the information about 2.8 million requests. This figure is 56 percent more than the number of the requests received by credit organizations in 2018. Some 1.8 million requests were sent by credit organizations of the corresponding system during 2018.
As reported, 2.6 million requests of that volume were addressed by banks, 309,900 requests by non-bank credit organizations, 137 requests by legal entities, 502 requests by leasing companies and 90 requests by credit unions.
The Bureau’s scoring service registered a total of 1.9 million users in 2019, which is 67 percent of the total number of the users.
The individuals having credit histories sent nearly 31,400 applications for credit reports. Among the applicants, 31,200 are physical persons and 147 are legal entities.
