The total assets of Bank BTB Azerbaijan increased by 9.7 percent in the second quarter of 2021 compared to the same period of last year and amounted to 205.6 million manat ($120.9 million), Trend reports citing the bank's financial report on Aug. 3.
In the structure of assets, the main share accounted for the loan portfolio (77.5 percent), the volume of which increased by 26.5 percent, amounting to 159.3 million manat ($93.7 million). More than 23.3 percent of total assets accounted for cash and cash equivalents - 48 million manat ($28.2 million).
Bank BTB Azerbaijan issued the loans to the banks and other financial institutions in the amount of 16.3 million manat ($9.6 million) in the reporting period, which is by 13.9 percent more on an annualized basis.
At the same time, the bank's investments in securities decreased by 1.6 times up to 14.4 million manat ($8.5 million).
In the structure of long-term assets, unused real estate reached 3.8 million manat ($2.2 million), while intangible assets, having doubled for the year, amounted to 4.4 million manat ($2.6 million). The bank's other assets in the second quarter of 2021 were estimated at 4.4 million manat ($2.6 million).
