BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 19. The state budget of Azerbaijan received about 46.3 million manat ($27.2 million) from the privatization and rental of state property from January through July 2022, Trend report via the State Property Service.
In the reporting period, 40 privatization auctions were held.
Shares of 13 joint-stock companies, 10 small state-owned enterprises, 2 unfinished objects, and 327 cars were privatized at auctions.
A total of 223 electronic applications for state property put up for auction have been received and 62 online applications through the Electronic Auction program have been made to participate in the auction over the past seven months. During this period, 16 mineral deposits were put into operation through auctions.
The number of lease agreements has increased as a result of the control and educational activities carried out to ensure the effective use of state real estate and the leasing of objects.
A total of 2,252 new renting agreements were signed from January through July 2022, among them, 498 are for non-residential facilities and 1,754 for land plots.
