BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 17. The amount of US dollars exchanged in the Organized Foreign Exchange Market in Iran has increased by 45 percent, from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 to December 17, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports citing Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
According to the report, in total, about $2.1 billion was exchanged in the Organized Foreign Exchange Market in Iran within the mentioned period. The figure stood at $1.5 billion in the same period last Iranian year.
