BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 27. The largest share of loans issued to households in Azerbaijan as of September 1, 2023, amounted to 58.1 percent of the total volume of lending, Trend reports.

The data of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) shows that the volume of loans issued to households increased by 2.7 billion manat ($1.5 billion), or 26.49 percent (from 10.3 billion to 13 billion manat, which is from $6 billion to $7.6 billion) in the mentioned period on an annualized basis.

At the same time, crediting of trade and services sector increased by 321.8 million manat ($189.2 million) or 10.28 percent to 3.4 billion manat ($1.9 billion) against 3.1 billion manat ($1.8 billion) earlier. The share of trade and services sector in the total volume of lending amounted to 15.4 percent.

Crediting of the real sector of Azerbaijan's economy for September 1, 2023 as a whole increased by 17.49 percent or 3.3 billion manat ($1.94 billion) year-on-year - from 19.1 billion ($11.2 billion) to 22.4 billion manat ($13.1 billion).
