Azerbaijan, Baku, 30 April / Trend corr S. Babayeva/ "AzDatacom, data backbone network, may cover establishments in all sectors in Azerbaijan," Nariman Hajiyev, head of National E-Governance Network Initiative (joint project of Azerbaijan's Communications and IT Ministry and UN Development Program), said on 30 April.

"If we manage to put the network into full operation by the end of the year, many State, business and educational establishments will join it. The network has no analogue in the country," he said.

The network was created on the basis of IP/ MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching).

According to Hajiyev, Ganja, Goranboy, Yevlakh, Agdash, Goychay, Agsu, Shamakha and Maraza regions are included into the second stage of the project.
