Lithuanian company talks on new payment device for Azerbaijani market

Lithuania's ASHBURN International, member of the Penki Kontinentai CJSC constantly develops the functionality of the TransLink.iQ solution for managing POS-terminal networks and routing transactions, the chief of the communications department of the company Alexander Zubryakov told Trend.

According to Zubryakov, ASHBURN International efficiently cooperates with the innovative and progressive banking organization Azer Turk Bank, which provides a wide range of financial services and introduces modern banking technologies in Azerbaijan.

"Today, the bank's Move 2500 POS-terminals manufactured by Ingenico company have been already connected to the multifunctional TransLink.iQ Manager module. We are working on integrating devices with cash register systems software to optimize work processes in retail chains," he said.

ASHBURN International, in cooperation with its partner, has developed a universal stand-alone device that combines an online cashier and a payment acquiring terminal ‘in one building’.

"The device is adapted for accepting card payments and fiscalizing transactions. It's equipped with a built-in receipt printer, barcode photo scanner, contactless card reader, and all the necessary communication modules for transmitting data to the Internet via WiFi and using a SIM card," the department chief noted.

"Recently, such mobile payment terminals that perform the function of online cash registers are gaining great popularity among our customers. Such devices can be used in a store with low traffic and a small assortment of goods; it takes up almost no space on the counter. The devices are in demand by couriers, delivery services, markets, and services," he added.

He also pointed out that the TransLink.iQ solution was developed taking into account the requirements of the international payment systems VISA International and MasterCard International for servicing chip, contactless and other types of cards.

"Safety has always been and remains a priority for ASHBURN International. We are regularly certified for compliance with the highest international requirements. Our hardware and software complex complies with the PCI PA-DSS card transactions security standard, which is a set of requirements for ensuring the security of data about payment cardholders during transmission, storage, and processing," summed up Zubryakov.
