BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 14. Revenues from mobile communication and information services in Azerbaijan increased to 1.7 billion manat ($1 billion), by 15.5 percent, or 229.4 million manat ($134.9 million) from January through August 2022 compared to the same period last year, State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the committee, 39.1 percent of revenues (675.8 million manat or $387.5 million) fell on the share of the telecommunications market (mobile operators).
Some 75.9 percent of the total volume of communication and information services were services rendered to the population during this period.
More than 82.6 percent of the revenue fell on non-state enterprises.
