The cargoes worth $3.4 billion were transported by air from January through November 2019 in Azerbaijan, which is 1.5 times more compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to the country’s State Customs Committee.
The cargo transportation by air reached 75,000 tons from January through November 2019.
Almost 62,100 tons of cargo worth $257.5 million (a decrease of 1.3 percent) were exported by air.
Some 12,900 tons of cargo worth over $3 billion (an increase of 1.7 times) were imported by air during the reporting period.
In general, during the reporting period, Azerbaijan's total trade turnover amounted to $30.6 billion. The country's export reached $18.3 billion, while import amounted to almost $12.3 billion.
