Uzbekistan Airports company signed contracts for the management of all international airports in Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to the press service of the company.
According to the information, the main tasks of Uzbekistan Airports at new stage of development will be the implementation of the development strategy of all airports in the country, the implementation of methodological guidance of their activities and the accumulation of financial flows for the implementation of infrastructure development projects and the introduction of new technologies.
The Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan Airports Rano Juraeva said that now Uzbekistan Airports, as the management company of all Uzbek international airports, can fully implement the roadmap and establish work in air harbors.
"A very important step has been taken for the development of airports in Uzbekistan - a legal basis has been created for their development from a single center," Juraeva noted.
She also said that this step was preceded by extensive work with the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Transport and the State Assets Management Agency.
In particular, changes were made to the charters of each airport, to their organizational and functional structures and staffing, labor incentives were introduced based on KPIs (Key Performance Indicator) and aimed at increasing employee salaries.
