The Russian KAMAZ PTC (Publicly traded company) is ready to consider applications for the purchase of KAMAZ vehicles on lease for non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in Azerbaijan, the Deputy General Director of KAMAZ PTC Rustam Shamsutdinov told Trend.

According to Shamsutdinov, a leasing company has already been created in Azerbaijan, which is intended for servicing and selling commercial vehicles to non-governmental organizations.

"We are ready to consider applications for the purchase of KAMAZ vehicles and serve them with a leasing scheme," he said.

In addition, the deputy director general said that the market is stable in Azerbaijan, the issue of a possible increase in VAT in the country, which may affect leasing services, is not considered by the PTC.

"The main prerequisites for the growth of leasing services in Azerbaijan can be attributed to the implementation of effective transport reforms, which mean that carriers and owners of transport, providing services, will move from the "gray" to the "white" zone. We hope that transport reforms will lead to the fact that people will want to change their equipment," he said.

Shamsutdinov also noted that transport companies that have a large number of trucks transporting goods on tractors (semi-trailers), unambiguously, acquire them on lease.

"Leasing services are very comfortable and convenient. KAMAZ has several programs to support leasing services," Shamsutdinov emphasized.
