Another false bomb report shakes Kazakh city

The Zhambyl oblast's Department of Emergency Situations located in Kazakh city of Taraz received a report on explosive device planted in the building of the oblast road police department on Thursday evening, Kazinform reported referring to the Department.

"After the thorough search operations police could not find bomb," spokesman for the Zhambyl oblast Emergency Situations Department Russlan Imankulov said.

Several blasts hit Taraz on Nov. 12. All incidents were fixed in the city center near the building of Zhambyl region's national security committee, the Civil Registry Office in central square, the building of the regional Akimat [regional governor's office] and the central grocery store. The blasts left seven dead, including five policemen.

On Nov. 13, following a bomb threat, 146 people were evacuated from Kazakhstan's Taraz train station, but a search turned up no explosive device.
