BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 9. Kazakhstan will take measures to fix the selling prices on sugar, Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin said during his meeting with the citizens of Almaty region, Trend reports via Ministry of Trade of Kazahstan.
He informed the citizens on measures taken to stabilize prices for socially significant food products as well as opportunities to support entrepreneurs with a 'Business Roadmap'.
"Currently, agreements have been reached with Kazakhstani sugar factories, which will result in allocation of working capital to purchase the necessary amount of raw materials. This will allow fixing the selling prices for sugar in the amount of 460 tenge ($0.9). Working capital of up to 4 billion tenge ($8,470) will be allocated to the largest producers of Pavlodar, Karaganda, Kostanay and Zhambyl regions, which will also make it possible to provide the market with the necessary volume of vegetable products at a fixed price," Zhumangarin said.
