BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 23. Kyrgyzstan continues to provide financial assistance for local businesses, Trend reports with reference to Kyrgyzstan's Ministry of Finance.

During a roundtable discussion on the project of emergency assistance to Kyrgyz enterprises, Deputy Finance Minister of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Tatikov stated that 1,164 local businessmen had already received financial support.

"The project is aimed at supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises of both the private and financial sectors of the country. To this end, we have signed agreements with 11 commercial banks," Tatikov said.

Currently, the Ministry of Finance, with the support of the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, provides support to enterprises as part of anti-crisis measures.
