BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, September 21. Kyrgyzstan imported 84,927 passenger cars from January through July 2023, with a value of $1.128 billion, Trend reports.
Data from the State Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan indicates that the import volume surged by 4.4 times compared to the same period in 2022, when it was 18,882 cars.
The value of these imports soared by 6.7 times year-on-year, from $166.521 million during the corresponding months of 2022.

Kyrgyzstan's foreign trade turnover amounted to $8.153 billion from January through July 2023, which is an increase of 32.3 percent compared to the same months in 2022.
Exports amounted to $1.602 billion, increasing by 45.6 percent compared to the corresponding months of 2022. Imports rose by 29.4 percent year-on-year, totaling $6.551 billion.
