BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. Investments in Tajikistan's Dangara Free economic zone significantly increased in the first half of 2022, said Tajikistan's Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqi Zavqizoda, Trend reports via khovar.tj.
According to Zavqizoda, the volume of investments to Dangara FEZ amounted to 61 million somoni ($5.9 million) from January through June 2022, which is 10,3 times more compared to the same period of last year.
During his visit to the Dangara FEZ, Zavqizoda emphasized the importance of the development of this free economic zone, creation of new jobs and construction of new industrial enterprises.
Moreover, he instructed to strengthen cooperation with relevant ministries and departments to attract more domestic and foreign capital and develop the region's infrastructure.
