Ashgabat hosted talks with the Iranian delegation led by Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Construction of Iran Ali Nurzada, the Turkmen foreign ministry said Jan. 30.
During the talks, the sides paid main attention to the issues of revitalization and further development of joint activities in the field of road construction.
The agenda of the talks included issues concerning construction of new Sarakhs (Turkmenistan) - Sarakhs (Iran) road bridge, Sarakhs - Tedjen road and Ashgabat - Turkmenabat highway.
It was pointed out that regular Turkmen-Iranian meetings and talks at various levels demonstrate commitment of the sides to consistently develop traditionally friendly relations between the two countries in almost all spheres of cooperation.
