BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 20. In Turkmenistan, 52 large industrial and social facilities will be built and commissioned in 2022, Trend reports citing the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH).
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Mukhammetguly Mukhammedov to the head of state Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a government meeting.
According to him, from January through April 2022, 59 percent of capital investments are directed to the construction of social facilities, and 41 percent – to industrial.
Currently, comprehensive measures are being implemented to improve the efficiency of work in this area, Mukhammedov said.
Residential real estate, shopping centers, medical institutions, and educational facilities are among the objects scheduled for commissioning in 2022.
With the increasing dynamics of the construction of industrial and social facilities in Turkmenistan, the industry is becoming one of the major sectors of the economy, which is given an important role in the implementation of import substitution programs and increasing the export potential of the state.
