BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 3. Uzbekistan and Germany have signed 9 agreements worth 113.3 million euros to strengthen cooperation in the field of electrical engineering, Trend reports with reference to the Uzeltechsanoat association.
According to the association, 7 of these agreements worth 78.3 million euros in the field of electrical engineering reached between the countries are investments, and the remaining 2 are export.
According to the export agreements, Germany will import from Uzbekistan electrical products worth 35 million euros.
İt should be noted that the agreements were reached during the Uzbek-German business forum held in Berlin, on the eve of the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Germany.
Uzbekistan’s electrotechnical companies such as Uzelectroapparat-Electroshield, Technopark, Uzkabel, Procab, Vades Group, and others companies took part in this forum.
At the same time, Germany was represented by the following companies: Siemens, Enertech, Infineon Technologies, Viessmann, Niehoff, Diehl Metering, and Benkam Europe.
Furthermore, following the results of the business forum, in addition to the above-mentioned agreements, Uzbekistan and Germany as a whole signed a package of agreements worth about 9 billion euros on the implementation of projects in various fields.
