TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, October 26. Uzbekistan has proposed to develop and adopt a program of new economic dialogue within the framework of the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Trend reports.

The remark was made by Uzbekistan’s Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov during an extended meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government in Bishkek.

"We propose to start developing and adopting the program of the new SCO economic dialogue, which will cover such areas as innovative development, digitalization and robotics, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, pharmacology, and other industries of the future," Aripov said.

The meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government in Bishkek is attended by the Prime Ministers of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, the Premier of the State Council of China, the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan, and the Foreign Ministers of India and Pakistan.

The program of the meetings includes discussions of the topical issues of interaction and strengthening cooperation between the member countries of the SCO. Moreover, the signing of a number of documents in the trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres is also considered.

The next meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government will take place in Pakistan.
