Some 52 foreigners, who were engaged in the fuel smuggling on the central highways in the Sistan -Baluchestan province, died in the traffic accidents and 136 people injured, Zahidan Province health office, who requested anonymity, told IRNA.

Some 52 foreigners, who were engaged in the fuel smuggling on the central highways in the Sistan -Baluchestan province, died in the traffic accidents and 136 people injured, Zahidan Province health office, who requested anonymity, told IRNA.

According to the report, most of the victims are the Afghan citizens.

Criminals smuggle the fuel from Iran to other countries, since the energy prices, particularly price for gasoline and kerosene, cheaper in Iran rather than in other countries.
