The Tabriz Petrochemical Company has exported 2500 tons of polymer materials in the first two months of this Iranian year which began on March 20.
Polymer exports were valued at $3.5 million (USD), the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reports.
Tabriz Petrochemical is located outside the city of Tabriz in Iran's north-western province of East Azerbaijan.
Ninety-five per cent of the company's polymer products worth more than $78 million are used domestically in downstream operations. That marks a 20 per cent increase in value from the previous year.
