Israel is the only country that Iran will never negotiate with, not even consider such possibility, Member of Iran Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, Esmail Kowsari told Trend.

Speaking about Iran's relations with other countries, Kowsari noted that the Iran-U.S. relations have a chance to improve.

"It wasn't Iran who cut ties with the U.S. in the first place," Kowsari said. "The U.S. cut ties with Iran after 1978, and placed economic sanctions on the Islamic Republic."

The official added that the U.S. must change its behavior and actions towards Iran.

"As long as they are arrogant, no negotiations will be possible," he said. "Iran is not working with U.s., and doesn't need it as well."

Kowsari went on to say that despite the efforts of the U.S., Iran has not suffered much.

"The U.S. can do whatever it wants. It has put sanctions on Iran, suspect Iran of developing nuclear weapons, and yet Iran is solving its problems, and even working towards improvements," Kowsari said.

With regard to the recently made statement of Iran's Parliamentary Speaker Ali Larijani, Kowsari said that Iran closely monitors the behavior of the United States.

"Mr. Larijani knows that such decisions are not his to make. Iran's policy may change, if the U.S. changes its behavior towards Iran," Kowsari said.

Speaking to Al Alam News Network, Larijani said that holding the dialogue with the U.S. is not the Islamic Republic's redline, stressing that the U.S. should help the negotiations to progress instead of taking a destructive position.

"Four years ago, the U.S. president Barack Obama said that the U.S. policy will change. But we saw that it not only it didn't, it also became worse than it was with George Bush," Kowsari noted.

"They can change their behavior, but they are lying because they're not the real decision makers," Iranian lawmaker underscored.
