Iran has opened the first phase of the Persian Gulf Star Refinery, but only some units, including naphtha are active. The first phase, aimed at producing 12 million liters per day of gasoline, is expected to be inaugurated in the coming month.

At full capacity, the refinery will process 360,000 barrels per day of gas condensate to produce 36 million liters per day of gasoline and 14 million liters per day of gas oil.
