TEHRAN, Iran, July 27. Iran's export to South Korea in the first three months of the current Iranian year (started March 21,2022) was valued at $16 million, secretary of Iran-South Korea Joint Chamber of Commerce Pouya Firouzi told Trend.
Meanwhile, Iran's imports from South Korea reached $164 million.
Trade volume between the two countries was $643 million last Iranian year (started March 21,2021) that included $82 million worth of exports from Iran and $601 million worth of imports from South Korea, Firouzi said.
He stressed that a very small part of Iran's frozen assets in South Korean banks has been unblocked and it was spent on import of medicine and medical equipment.
