Georgia, Tbilisi / corr. Trend N. Kirtskhalia/ The Georgian Foreign Minister has called Vyacheslav Kovalenko, the Ambassador of Russia to Georgia, to the Foreign Ministry. David Bakradze, the Georgian foreign minister is expected to meet with him in the Ministry.
The minister will give a note of protest to the Russian Ambassador in connection with the letter by Savchenko, Russian Deputy Justice Minister, to his Georgian counterpart Givi Mikanadze and will demand him to give explanations in this regard.
On 8 April, the Russian minsiter of justice Nika Gvaramiya announced that the letter of Deputy Minister is written 'in an unfriedly style for Georgia' as it demands the establishment of relations between Moscow and Sukhumi and insists on establishing Russia-Abkhazia relations. It is worth mentioning that during the recent times, Russian ambassador has been called to the Foreign Ministry for 5 times to express him their protest.
