We Have all Grounds to Maintain Good Relations with   Georgia: Iranian Foreign Minister

Georgia, Tbilisi, 17 September/ Trend , corr N. Kirtskhalia/ Iran is going to present its proposals to the conflicting sides on the way out the current situation, Manuchehr Mottaki, Iranian Foreign Minister said to journalists in Tbilisi.

їWe are not going to get involved in this conflict and act as a mediator. We just see only this option for the solution of the problem and we intend to make our own contribution,ї he said.

їOur proposals and cooperation in this way will help handle the crisis,ї he noted.

The energy corridors on North-South route both within Caucasus and beyond its boundaries are very important for Iran, minister said. He said this issue was topic of discussions during his meeting with President Saakashvili and Georgian foreign minister. їWe also discussed economic and energy issues,ї he said.

їWe have all grounds to maintain good relations with Georgia,ї Mottaki said.
