Georgian presidential candidate Giorgi Chikhladze withdrew his candidacy.
Chikhladze said he withdrew his candidacy in favour of Giorgi Margvelashvili.
The country has two forces that can cope with the problems, namely Georgian Dream and Nino Burjanadze's Democratic Movement - United Georgia, Chikhladze said on Friday at a press conference.
"Fulfilment of the country's tasks can only be done by two teams participating in the marathon - 'Democratic Movement - United Georgia' and 'Georgian Dream'. Based on the fact that the main provisions of our programs and priorities coincide with the priorities of the Georgian Dream, I have decided to vote for Giorgi Margvelashvili," Chikhladze said.
