BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 1. Türkiye increased exports of marine fuel to Georgia in June 2022, Trend reports with reference to Türkiye's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
According to EPDK, Türkiye's exports of marine fuel to Georgia in June 2022 amounted to 985 tons, which is 11,6 times higher than in the same month of last year (85 tons).
This figure also increased by 2.1 percent compared to May 2022 (963.8 tons of marine fuel).
Moreover, Türkiye exported 102.9 tons of aviation fuel and 11.9 tons of diesel fuel to Georgia in June 2022.
Thus, the total volume of Türkiye's fuel exports to Georgia in the reporting month amounted to 1,099 tons, which is 10 times more than in June 2021 (107.5 tons).
Meanwhile, Georgia's imports from Türkiye in the first half of 2022 increased by 28.2 percent compared to the corresponding period of last year ($780 million) - up to $1 billion.
