From January through October 2019, 27companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Turkey, which is two companies fewer compared to the same period last year, Trend reports referring to the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
The total capital of Uzbek companies registered in Turkey in the first 10 months of 2019 amounted to just over 4.9 million Turkish liras ($864,384), while in the same period of 2018, this figure was over 3.2 million Turkish liras ($562,745).
In the first 10 months of 2019, most of the Kazakh companies (16 companies) were registered in Istanbul.
From January through October 2019, two mining companies, five construction companies, 14 wholesale and retail companies with Kazakh capital were registered in Turkey.
The remaining six companies with Kazakh capital are involved in other sectors of the economy.
According to TOBB, the total capital of 14 wholesale and retail companies registered during the reporting period amounted to just over 2 million liras ($360,087).
