In November 2019, the volume of cargo transshipment from Ukraine through Turkey's ports reached 12.3 million tons, Trend reports on Dec. 19 referring to the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
According to the ministry, in November 2019, cargo transshipment from Ukraine by vessels flying the Ukrainian flag amounted to 629,695 tons, while vessels flying flags of other countries carried over 9.7 million tons.
During the reporting month, the volume of cargo transshipment from Ukraine via Turkish ports by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 1.9 million tons.
Moreover, over 14.4 million tons of cargo were transported in transit from Ukraine through the ports of Turkey in November 2019.
In November 2019, Turkish ports received 4,379 vessels, the gross tonnage of which amounted to over 68 million tons.
In the reporting period, 1,577 vessels flying the Turkish flag and 2,802 vessels flying flags of other countries arrived at Turkish ports.
In November 2019, the gross tonnage of vessels arriving at Turkish ports flying the Turkish flag amounted to over 11 million tons, and vessels flying the flags of other countries – over 57 million tons.
From January through November 2019, Turkish ports received 50,987 vessels, the gross tonnage of which amounted to 728.7 million tons.
In the reporting period, 19,568 vessels flying the Turkish flag and 31,419 vessels flying the flags of other countries arrived at Turkish ports.
From January through November 2019, the gross tonnage of vessels arriving at Turkish ports flying the Turkish flag amounted to 111.9 million tons, and vessels flying the flags of other countries – 616.8 million tons.
