Turkey’s export of steel to Azerbaijan dropped by 3.92 percent from January through March 2020 compared to the same period of 2019, amounting to $22 million, Turkey’s Ministry of Trade told Trend.
In March 2020, Turkey’s steel export to Azerbaijan increased by 11.14 percent compared to March 2019, and exceeded $8 million.
From January through March 2020, export of steel from Turkey to world markets dropped by 15.1 percent compared to the same period of 2019, amounting to $3.1 billion.
Over the reporting period, Turkey’s steel export amounted to 7.3 percent of country's total export.
In March 2020, Turkey exported steel to world markets worth $984.1 million, which is 24.4 percent less compared to the same month of 2019. Meanwhile, export of steel from Turkey amounted to 7.3 percent of country's total export.
From March 2019 through March 2020, Turkey exported cement worth $13.2 billion.
Turkey’s foreign trade turnover in February 2020 exceeded $32.2 billion.
In February 2020, export from Turkey increased by 2.3 percent compared to February 2019, exceeding $14.6 billion.
Turkey's import increased by 9.8 percent in February 2020 compared to the same month of 2019 and exceeded $17.6 billion.
From January through February 2020, Turkey’s trade turnover exceeded $66.1 billion.
