The value of steel exports from Turkey to Turkmenistan in September 2021 grew, Trend reports on Oct.25 referring to the Turkish Ministry of Trade.
According to the ministry, this indicator reached $7.7 million, up by 7.2 percent on annual basis.
In the first nine months of 2021, Turkey exported steel worth $65.4 million to Turkmenistan, which is 26.1 percent less than in the same period of 2020, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, the total value of Turkey’s steel exports abroad increased by 77.5 percent compared to the same period last year, up to $15.8 billion.
In the ninth month of 2021, Turkey exported steel worth $2.6 billion, which is 1.4 times more than in September 2020.
Over the past 12 months (from September 2020 through September 2021), Turkish steel exports amounted to $19.5 billion.
