BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 15. The number of passengers arriving at Antalya International Airport in Türkiye increased by 14 percent and amounted to more than 34.5 million people in August 2023, Trend reports.
The data of the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure shows that the airport's passenger turnover on domestic flights increased by 8 percent and amounted to 5.87 million people in November, and on international flights, by 16 percent, reaching 28.6 million people.
The airport's cargo turnover amounted to 427,505 tons, an increase of 9 percent in November of this year compared to the same period in 2022. In addition, the airport's cargo turnover on domestic flights increased by three percent and amounted to 59,916 tons in November 2023 year-on-year, and on international flights, it increased by 8 percent and amounted to 370,589 tons compared to the same period.
According to the ministry, the number of flights at the airport increased by 14 percent and amounted to 217,370 in November 2023 compared to the same period in 2022. Moreover, the number of domestic flights increased by 10 percent (42,036) and the number of international flights by 15 percent (175,334).
Passenger traffic at all airports in Türkiye amounted to 199.6 million people, and cargo turnover - 3.8 million tons in November 2023.
