Baku, Azerbaijan, Sept. 16
By Tamkin Jafarov - Trend:
Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) possesses a unique ballistic missile, said the IRGC Deputy Commander Hossein Salami.
ISNA quoted Salami as saying Sept. 16 that such a missile can be owned only by Russia and the US.
He noted that it is virtually impossible to counter that missile.
Salami was also reported as saying that Iran constantly carries out a surveillance of all the actions that are directly or indirectly related to its national security in the Persian Gulf, Sea of Oman, a part of the Indian Ocean and other places.
"We carry out those surveillances using unmanned aerial vehicles, modern radars, intelligence and security groups, and electronic equipment," he said.
He added that the IRGC has the drones that can fly 3,000 kilometers and carry out attacks.
