Social media pages dedicated to and affiliated with Iranian President Hassan Rouhani have celebrated the closure of Iran's so called PMD (possible military dimensions to Tehran's nuclear program) file by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Board of Governors.
"Following one decade of pressure, threat and cruel sanctions... hours ago, the International Atomic Energy Agency Board of Governors overwhelmingly adopted a resolution proposed by the P5+1 group of countries regarding the closure of the co called PMD file. Therefore the Board of Governors revoked 12 previous resolutions which included serious restrictions and accusations against our country's nuclear program," a Facebook page affiliated with President Rouhani posted.
"Eventually after one decade, the so called PMD file has been closed and Board of Governor's 12 resolutions against Iran have been revoked," Twitter account @Rouhani_ir posted.
An Instagram account dedicated to Hassan Rouhani also celebrated the "historic victory" for the moderate president.
During a session on December 15 in Vienna the Board of Governors voted in favor of a draft resolution by the P5+1 to settle a 12-year probe into the past and present dimensions to Iran's nuclear program, an step paving the way for implementing a July nuclear deal between Tehran and the world powers.
The adopted resolution is indeed something Hassan Rouhani can add to his resume, along with the "nuclear victory" achieved during his time in office.
