Kyrgyzstan is interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan in bilateral and regional formats, Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdildaev said at a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov in Baku, the Foreign Ministry said today.
The Kyrgyz foreign minister arrived in Baku to attend a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation.
Abdildaev and Mammadyarov have discussed the cooperation between the two countries and the agenda of the meeting of the ECO Council of Foreign Ministers.
ECO is an intergovernmental regional organisation established in 1985 by Iran, Pakistan and Turkey for the purpose of promoting economic, technical and cultural cooperation are among the member states.
