Azercell Telecom - country's largest telecommunication provider supports Baku Science Festival to be held on November 10-11. The event, initiated by the National Academy of Sciences is organized with the support of the Ministry of Communications and Higher Technologies, Ministry of Education and Baku City Executive Authority.

Baku Science Festival - the first event of its type in the Caucasus region will demonstrate globally recognized scientific achievements of our researchers in the recent years. The Festival will also feature speeches of young scientists in various venues, innovations and interactive presentations.

Azercell provides festival participants with mobile communications and Wi-Fi network. In addition, the company has also introduced special numbers for the employees of the National Academy of Sciences. The Company also creates a platform for festival participants and young researchers to unite science and industry, science and production.

Participants of Baku Science Festival will get a chance to visit scientific laboratories, competitions, exhibits featuring new scientific achievements, as well as watch scientific - popular movies. Major events will be hosted in the vicinity of Scientific campus: at the HQ of ANAS and newly opened Central Scientific Library. Baku State University, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Aviation Academy, Higher Oil School will join this initiative and hold different meetings. There are also festival events scheduled to be held at the three secondary schools - 134, 23 and 6.

The world's first ever Science Festival was held in XIX century in Britain. The main motto of the festival was "Inspire, Educate, Entertain". The ultimate goal of the festival is to reconcile science and society, as well as various fields of science, to exhibit scientific achievements and increase the interest of young generation in this area.
