Law enforcement agencies of the Garadag district in Baku detained a person suspected of a blast at the Lokbatan hospital, Garadag Police Office said to Trend .
A blast took place in Hospital-19 in Lokbatan settlement in Garadag district on 25 November. As a result, a surgeon and a nurse sustained serious injuries. Surgeon Ravayat Mutallimov lost his right hand and right eye.
Detained Sabir Huseynov, 39, confessed that he had placed a hand grenade in the pocket of surgeon Mutallimov. The reason was a wrangle between the surgeon and Huseynov's wife and sister-in-law.
According to the Garadag Police, the detained person was shell-shocked during the Garabag War.
