A cruel murder was committed in the Nizami district of Baku.
The Nizami District Prosecutor's Office told Trend that today at 4:00, Rovshan Mehraliyev residing at the Str. Shirin Mirzoyev, 70, Apt. 30, killed his mother Elmira Mehraliyeva, wife Lala Mehraliyeva, and two juveniles, Said and Ilham, inflicting several wounds by a kitchen knife due to a domestic dispute.
Eight-year-old Nurana, who managed to escape, reported the incident to neighbors who called the police.
Police officers arrived on the scene and arrested Mehraliyev who had caused several stab wounds to himself. He was immediately taken to the City Clinical Hospital N.3.
According to the report, unemployed Mehraliyev was a Karabakh war veteran.
A criminal case has been filed under Article 120.2.4, pertaining to deliberate murder committed with extreme cruelty or dangerous way and Article 120.2.7, pertaining to deliberate murder of two or more persons of the Azerbaijani Criminal Code. The incident is under investigation.
