Azerbaijan, Nakchivan/corr. Trend Y.Aliyev / On 16 October the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, arrived in Nakchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan on a two-day visit. On 17 October the State Head of Azerbaijan will participate in the opening ceremony of several social facilities and hold meetings in the Supreme Assembly of Nakchivan.
Aliyev arrived in Nakchivan from Iran where he attended the summit of the Caspian littoral countries. During his stay in Tehran, Aliyev held talks with his Iranian counterpart, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, as well as exchanged views with the leaders of other Caspian littoral countries.
