The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry purchased 40 InterWrite Learning sets for its educational institutions, the Information ICT Center said.
The eInstruction company translates InterWrite Learning software into the Azerbaijani language.
The company believes that software localization will allow the system to be used widely in Azerbaijan.
InterWrite Learning facilitates effective education. Students can use the interactive wireless boards to copy texts, images and multimedia from their teacher's board. They can also use the boards to ask questions, answer questions and participate in discussions. An interactive dialogue is ongoing between teachers and students, which significantly increases perception and understanding.
U.S. educational institutions are InterWrite's main consumer. The French Education Ministry showed an interest in buying InterWrite products. European educational institutions are negotiating acquiring the equipment. The CIS has also shown a great interest in the technology.
