The Azerbaijani State Migration Service will deport 80 foreigners in an administrative order.
The service's employees are taking the relevant measures to prevent illegal migration, as well as to curb violations committed by foreigners and stateless persons residing in Azerbaijan, service spokesman Zarnishan Ahmadova told Trend.
The service revealed that 883 foreigners violated existing legislation. About 234 were fined and their residence was legalized. Roughly 569 foreigners were asked to leave the country within 48 hours in compliance with the relevant articles of the Administrative Offenses Code.
In May 2010, the service accepted 4.730 applications from foreigners and stateless persons to extend their stay in the country. Each application was investigated in compliance with the requirements of existing legislation and the relevant decisions were adopted.
