One of the main priorities of the Turkish foreign policy is to establish a long-term stability in the Caucasus, Turkey's President Abdullah Gul said on the eve of official visit to Azerbaijan, Anadolu reported.
Gul will launch his two-day official visit to Turkey on Monday.
Gul will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and Energy Minister Taner Yildiz.
According to Gul, Turkey is closely monitoring the processes in the Caucasus and is actively involved in establishing a lasting and durable peace.
This issue will be one of the main issues of the agenda in the official meetings in Baku, Gul said.
