Army general: Turkey will spare no efforts for development of Azerbaijani armed forces

Interior Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Ramil Usubov on Tuesday held a meeting with a delegation headed by the Commander of Turkish Land Forces on Training and Doctrine, Army General Saldiray Berko, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, the press service of the Interior Ministry said.

Interior Minister of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Ramil Usubov on Tuesday held a meeting with a delegation headed by the Commander of Turkish Land Forces on Training and Doctrine, Army General Saldiray Berko, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, the press service of the Interior Ministry said.

Usubov mentioned the development of ties between the armed forces, interior agencies of the two fraternal countries, including between the Command of the Gendarmerie of Turkey and the Interior Troops of Azerbaijan, cooperation between them and the importance of training in this regard.

He said Berko's visit to Azerbaijan will yield positive results. Usubov also expressed confidence that in the future, the potential of the relevant structures of the two countries will be used productively.
Berko expressed his satisfaction with the dynamic development of Azerbaijan and its capital in recent years. According to him, Turkey will always support the fraternal country and will spare no efforts for the development of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan. Berko also said that the fruitful cooperation between the two countries will always serve the interests of both countries.
The meeting also discussed a number of other issues of mutual interest.
