There are no questions between Russia and Azerbaijan that at the moment would have remained unsolved, said Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in an interview to AzTV channel.
"Right now there is no question that, for example, is on the agenda of our relations as unsolved. So, I think, other states and interstate relations may seek to this model of the relation", - Medvedev said.
The Russian leader, in particular, stressed that the bilateral trade volume in 2011 increased by about 60%, RIA Novosti reported.
"This year it will be around 3 billion, and that is the highest figure in the history of the last few years, anyway," - said Medvedev.
In addition, the Russian president praised his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev, calling him a man of his age.
"Communicating with him is always pleasure for me ... It is always nice when a person you talk with, hear the arguments of the other. He knows it and presents his arguments, and in general he is a modern man," - said Medvedev.
The Russian president said that in this respect it may be easier to find common language with Aliyev, than with other counterparts.
A telephone conversation between the leaders of countries was held on Saturday. Medveved congratulated Aliyev on his 50th birthday. During the talk the President of Azerbaijan praised the organization of the recent Moscow CIS summit. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the adopted decisions.
